Estimator

Coalville Office based, mostly office based 4 days office / 1 day work from home.

The job will be based around managing an inbox of incoming quote requests, determining the potential with each and producing commercially viable quotations to regional and national housebuilders, hotel chains, bathroom pod companies and other volume customers.

General Role Description:

Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure information gathered to produce quotations is accurate and commercially viable

Understand customer requirements to ensure accurate cost estimations

Identify potential risks and opportunities associated within projects and tenders and factor them into contract support quotations

Personal Specification:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent commercial acumen gained from experience in similar roles.

High attention to detail.

Strong experience with Microsoft Excel necessary, including moderate formulas such as SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, etc.

Experience with SQL based systems preferable.

Experience in the building industry, ideally in bathrooms and working with national and/or regional housebuilders. Experience in other industries would be considered.

Key Skills:

Significant proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience with Office 365 and SQL desirable.

Commercial experience working within the bathroom sector or similar industries

Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with customers and colleagues from various departments at various levels
