Are you an analytical finance professional ready to make your next move?
A highly respected manufacturing business based in Lowestoft is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will support the manufacturing site with timely and accurate financial analysis, partnering with operational teams to provide insight into performance and support informed decision-making. You’ll play a key part in the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting, variance analysis, planning and forecasting.
· Key responsibilities include:
· Producing weekly KPI reports and variance analysis (e.g., production volumes, labour costs, fixed costs, transfer pricing)
· Monthly/quarterly close of management accounts, accruals and journals
· Supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning
· Maintaining and updating transfer pricing data
· Developing financial models and simulations to assess "what-if" scenarios
· Improving data governance and reporting standards across the site
· Assisting in audit and compliance, including SOX control environment
About You
We are looking for someone with a sharp commercial mind, excellent attention to detail, and a natural ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
· Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
· At least 3 years of experience in a financial reporting or forecasting role
· Strong Excel and analytical skills, with experience in SAP (S4 Hana)
· Familiarity with business intelligence tools and visualisation software
· Ideally, experience in a manufacturing or supply chain finance environment
