Role Overview

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and reflective Maths Teacher to join a high-performing department with a real sense of energy and purpose. The ideal Maths Teacher will be someone who can spark curiosity in the subject and build real mathematical confidence – whether that’s with a top-set Year 11 group aiming for grade 9s, or a mixed-ability Year 7 class just finding their feet.

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with scope for KS5 if desired

Use innovative tools and platforms (such as Desmos and HegartyMaths) to bring topics to life

Contribute to the Maths curriculum’s ongoing development, encouraging real-world application and problem-solving

Support targeted intervention programmes and GCSE preparation clinics after school

Be an active member of a collaborative, experienced team who share resources and celebrate success

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Maths Teacher with:

QTS and a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject

A clear passion for teaching and the ability to make Maths engaging and relevant

Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge

A commitment to student progress, differentiation, and inclusive teaching

Ideally, experience or interest in leading on enrichment activities such as Maths Challenge, Pi Day, or Numeracy Week
