🎓 Your Role

As an Art Teacher at our school, you will:

  • Teach engaging and inclusive Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, introducing students to a variety of artistic techniques and media

  • Support students in developing both technical skills and creative confidence

  • Contribute to curriculum planning alongside a collaborative and experienced department team

  • Use assessment and feedback to help students progress and take pride in their achievements

  • Encourage involvement in extracurricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and creative school events

  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that inspires every learner

    We’re looking for a motivated and reflective ECT who:

  • Will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2025

  • Has a degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design, with a strong portfolio and understanding of visual arts practice

  • Is passionate about making Art accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for all students

  • Has strong communication and organisational skills

  • Is eager to contribute to a supportive school community and grow as a teacher
