Job Title: Auto Electrician

About Us:
We are a forward-thinking organisation dedicated to supplying top-quality vehicles, compactors, and containers. As we expand our operations, we are on the lookout for a talented Auto Electrician to help us build, refurbish, and repair our vehicles.

What You'll Do:
In this full-time role, you will be working in our vibrant workshop and production facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

Installing wiring looms, lighting, and electronic components on commercial vehicle chassis and bodies.
Fitting and connecting bin lift control systems, CANbus systems, reverse cameras, warning lights, beacons, and sensors.
Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and build specifications.
Conducting diagnostics and fault finding using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for electrical processes in our production line.
Collaborating with mechanical fitters, body builders, and quality control teams to ensure efficient production flow.

Location & Working Pattern:

Location: Leyland
Hours: 39 hours per week; 8 am to 5 pm (Monday to Thursday), 8 am to 4 pm (Friday)
Pay: £16 to £17 per hour, depending on skill level
Overtime: Available

What You Bring:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, particularly with electrical systems in commercial vehicles.
Strong skills in wiring loom installation and diagnostics.
Familiarity with various electronic components and safety compliance.
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings effectively.
A proactive attitude towards improving electrical processes.
