BI Developer needed for an award winning organisation based in Croydon, who are looking to employ a proactive and technically skilled BI Developer with an in-depth knowledge of Business Intelligence, SQL, Power BI, and Visual Studio, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, ETL.

As a BI Developer, you'll build scalable data solutions, create insightful reports and dashboards, and support the ongoing development of their data warehouse and reporting landscape. Experience with Snowflake is a bonus

  • Salary: £50,000 per annum
  • 25 day's holiday
  • Pension Plan

  • Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the office

    Some of the main duties of the BI Developer will include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages in Visual Studio to support ETL processes
  • Build and optimise interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, ensuring performance and usability
  • Integrate customer and commercial data from multiple internal and external sources into meaningful business insights
  • Collaborate with digital marketing, commercial and finance teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable data solutions
  • Automate and maintain recurring reports in Power BI and SSRS
  • Promote a data-driven culture by advocating best practices in BI and self-serve analytics

    In order to be the successful BI Developer and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:

  • 4+ years of experience in a BI development role
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL, with experience in querying and manipulating large datasets
  • Worked extensively with Customer Data in a customer-facing industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server tools: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
  • Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for data manipulation
  • Experience with Power BI for report building, data modeling, and DAX
  • Strong understanding of Visual Studio and ETL processes
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and balance multiple priorities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
