We're on the lookout for a dedicated Business Analyst to join our clients Technology department, who can efficiently streamline business operations and facilitate new technological advancements.

Our client is a large organization, highly esteemed within the Manufacturing sector, with a strong international presence. Located in Lydney, they pride themselves on their innovative approach to technology and their commitment to sustainable practices.

Description

System Implementation & Administration

Lead and support new system rollouts, upgrades, and integrations (ERP, CRM, etc.).
Gather requirements, configure systems, and manage testing and deployment.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP and CRM platforms.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Perform SQL data mining to uncover business insights.
Build Power BI dashboards to support decision-making.
Automate repetitive tasks with VBA scripting.

Process Mapping & Optimization

Map business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
Design automated workflows to boost efficiency.
Work with teams to ensure system changes align with business needs.

Technical Support & Training

Deliver user training and create supporting documentation.
Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with vendors as required.
Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance across systems.Profile

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, IT systems implementation, or related roles.
Practical experience with SQL Server, Power BI, VBA scripting, ERP, and CRM administration.
Familiarity with process mapping and business analysis methodologies.

Essential Skills & Knowledge

Strong SQL skills (queries, stored procedures, data mining).
Expertise in Power BI dashboard creation and VBA scripting.
Experience in ERP and CRM system management and implementation.
Understanding of business process mapping and workflow automation.
Ability to troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with vendors.
Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and system security best practices.
Familiarity with API integrations and system interoperability (a plus).

Preferred Skills

Experience with artificial intelligence (AI).
