Business Intelligence Developer

Join a team dedicated to advancing pet health and well-being through science. We're seeking a skilled and passionate Business Intelligence Developer to transform complex data into strategic, actionable insights that shape the future of pet care.

About the Role

This is a 12-month, full-time contract position, requiring you to be on-site 50% of the time. You will be a key player in a collaborative environment, using your expertise to empower smarter, data-driven decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

As our BI Developer, you'll be instrumental in building a scalable and sustainable BI capability. Your key responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop custom BI solutions.
Creating robust data models and automated pipelines for large and complex datasets, primarily using Databricks in Azure.
Championing best practices in data governance, standardisation, and knowledge sharing to foster a strong data culture.
Driving continuous improvements to deliver maximum value to the business.

Who We're Looking For

We need an experienced BI Developer with a proven track record. The ideal candidate will have:

BI Expertise: The ability to design, build, and maintain effective BI solutions.
Strong Communication: A knack for translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Data Management Skills: Experience in data modelling and handling large datasets.
Coding Proficiency: Solid skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), Power Apps, and SQL.
Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects and familiarity with DevOps tools.
