About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Consultant with advanced practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365BC) to join our team.

The selected candidate will provide in-depth technical hands-on support, troubleshoot issues, product and extention development, data migration, project support and optimise our D365BC environment-including ERP, Exflow Invoicing solution, Purchase Order and eInvoicing components.

This position encompasses three primary responsibilities: providing technical support for the ongoing Navision to D365BC rollout, optimising and developing existing instances to enhance performance according to best practices, and delivering technical life cycle management (LCM) for business-as-usual (BAU) issues and change requests (CRs).

This position requires close collaboration with Finance and IT departments across multiple locations to assess their needs and challenges, offering expert guidance on optimising D365BC to drive operational efficiency and scalability.

Additionally, this role contributes directly to the governance processes supporting key objectives, business application planning and implementation, and the delivery of measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

D365BC Technical Consultant will be accountable for:

Provide first-line technical support for finance team ERP applications, diagnosing and resolving technical issues within agreed SLAs.
Analyse and evaluate D3565BC and other ERP applications/ modules/ extentions, configuring them to meet business unit needs.
Design and implement system upgrades, configurations, and integrations - be the D365BC Admin
Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance system performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop system specificationsEssential Skills s Experience

Degree in IT, Computer Science, or
Proven expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (365BC).
Strong understanding of finance subsystems like General Ledger (G/L), Accounts, SQL, and AL development.
Experience in multi-national projects, system migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Knowledge of data management, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in fast-paced environments, balancing technical and business activities.
Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, actionable insights for non-technicalDesirable Skills

5+ years of relevant IT experience, ideally in a client-facing support role.
Experience with system integration and project management.Key Competencies
