Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and self-starting Tester with excellent communication skills. You will play a crucial role in our migration project from Cloudera (Hive) to Snowflake, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. This position demands a hands-on approach, requiring a technical understanding of the components involved.

What you'll do:

Lead and manage the Cloudera to Snowflake migration testing process.
Design and execute comprehensive tests to ensure data correctness post-migration.
Collaborate effectively with teams to maintain transparency and manage time constraints.
Utilise Python, SQL, DBeaver, and Postgres to support testing activities.
Engage with technologies such as Nifi, Airflow, DBT, and Azure Blob Storage as part of the testing process.Must have's:

Experiencewith Cloudera and Snowflake platforms.
Proficiency in SQL and testing methodologies.
Strong technical background with the ability to log in and understand system components.Nice to have:

Experience with Nifi, Airflow, DBT, and Azure Blob Storage is desirable.
Proficiency in Python and database tools like DBeaver and Postgres.
