Data Migration Lead

Our client, a well-established company undergoing a major digital transformation, is seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting their ongoing migration project from AX09 to AX12 to D365 F&O, which is set to span until 2027 and beyond.

The Role:

As an Application Support Analyst, you will provide technical and functional support across Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX09, AX12) and D365 F&O, ensuring business continuity during a complex multi-phase migration. You will be working in a customer-facing, shared service model, balancing BAU (Business As Usual) support with migration project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide application support for Microsoft Dynamics AX (AX09, AX12) and D365 F&O

  • Support integrations, including web services and basic SQL troubleshooting

  • Work closely with stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure seamless system performance

  • Assist with AIF (Application Integration Framework) in AX and BIS (Business Integration Solutions) in D365

  • Provide expertise in BizTalk middleware to support message passing between POS, AX, and General Ledger

  • Collaborate on the migration project, offering technical insights to improve system efficiencies

  • Ensure adherence to structured support approaches, such as ServiceNow and ITIL frameworks

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in both AX12 & D365 F&O

  • Strong knowledge of integrations, middleware solutions (BizTalk, Logic Apps), and SQL

  • Experience supporting satellite systems integration (Salesforce, WMS, financial systems like Cogloss Hyperion)

  • ​Exceptional stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
