Zachary Daniels are delighted to be supporting this leading online retailer in the appointment of a Data Analyst to join their rapidly growing business.

With a significant presence in Europe and the US and under the leadership of a new CEO, the business is looking to consolidate its market leading position and grow substantially over the coming few years. The business is looking for an experienced Data Analyst/Engineer to support the next phase of growth.

Reporting to Chief Financial Officer, and working closely with the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for maintaining existing valuable data assets and creating new assets from raw data to be consumed by end users across operational, commercial, marketing and finance departments.

You will be required to work closely with stakeholders, ensuring data assets meet current and future requirements of the business, whilst being able to translate business needs into effective data products.

To be considered for this role you will need to display the following:

At least 3 years commercial experience in a similar role - Data Analyst or Engineer
Excellent SQL skills including (CTEs and window functions)
Excellent Python skills (Pandas)
Demonstrable knowledge of warehouses (tables, views & databases)
Experience of Power BI
Good relationship builder
Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical colleagues
Able to set own agenda & manage own time - this is a stand-alone role, but will involve working closely with the business functions
