Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Dover - Hybrid (Office-based Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)

Our client, a leading provider of asset-light transportation solutions, is seeking a Data Engineer to support innovation and operational efficiency across their European business unit. This role focuses on implementing and optimizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other logistics technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals.
  • Support the design, development, and deployment of TMS systems.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimise systems for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years\' experience in a similar role, ideally within logistics, supply chain, or transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies (IoT, AI, blockchain, robotics) is a plus.
  • Programming knowledge is beneficial.
  • Experience with BigQuery is a must for this position
