A SaaS platform is on a mission to revamp its data setup. As it continues to move on-premises SQL and Cosmos DB to the cloud with Azure, a new Data team is being formed to lead the charge. The goal is to use the latest tech to boost data capabilities and bring innovation to pricing systems with Data Science and Machine Learning.


We would like a Senior Data Engineer to help navigate this data migration and shape the future of its data platform. This is a unique opportunity to have a significant influence over the migration process and the technology stack. The role involves not just moving data but also creating a strong, scalable, and future-ready data infrastructure.


The Job



  • Continue the migration of on-premises SQL and Cosmos DB to Azure.
  • Design and implement data architecture and pipelines that are scalable and efficient.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Data Science and Machine Learning models into our pricing system.
  • Establish best practices and governance for data management and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Data team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.

You:



  • Proven experience in leading data migration projects, particularly to cloud platforms like Azure.
  • Strong POWERBI Experience
  • Proven experience with ADF (DataFactory)
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Cosmos DB, and cloud technologies.
  • Familiar with FinTech System to System integration
  • Ability to design and implement scalable data architectures.
