About the Role

As the AI & Data Governance Consultant , you’ll lead the development of governance policies to ensure our data and AI models are secure, fair, transparent, and compliant with evolving regulations. You’ll collaborate with teams across Technology, Risk, and Data to assess risks, drive data governance maturity, and champion best practices across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement AI and data governance frameworks to ensure secure, well-managed data practices.

Identify and mitigate key risks, including AI bias, data integrity, security, and compliance issues.

Collaborate across business functions to align governance policies with organisational goals.

Facilitate AI Governance and Innovation Forums to ensure effective oversight and business value.

Promote a strong data governance culture by engaging and educating colleagues at all levels.

Conduct maturity assessments and develop roadmaps to improve data governance adoption.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience in data governance, AI governance, and regulatory compliance.

Strong understanding of AI ethics, risk management, and responsible AI principles.

Ability to assess and mitigate risks related to data integrity, security, and bias.

Experience with data governance tools and AI/ML lifecycle management.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex governance concepts for non-technical audiences.

Passion for AI and data innovation, with a commitment to ensuring responsible and ethical use.
