Data Governance Manager - Analytics - London

Key Responsibilities:

Be the go-to expert on analytics governance standards.
Build and establish a framework for analytics governance in line with data management practices.
Train and mentor others in analytics governance.
Identify and catalogue key data outputs across the business.
Work with data owners to review, update, and track any improvements.
Support colleagues in understanding and measuring their key metrics.
Ensure compliance with BCBS239 and other data regulations.
Engage with colleagues at all levels to get buy-in for analytics governance.
Continuously review and improve how analytics governance is implemented.Profile

Skills and Experience

Essential:

Experience in setting up analytics governance or EUC governance in other companies.
Experience working with governance frameworks like BCBS239.
Familiar with data cataloguing tools like Collibra.
Background in financial services and an understanding of data regulations.
Able to train and mentor others.
Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Solid understanding of data management, data lineage, and data governance practices.
Good understanding of project delivery and software development life cycles.
Experience using Power BI or Tableau to build data dashboards.
Worked in a business with well managed self serve analytics.
