The Opportunity

You'll lead the design, development, and optimisation of data integration flows across a complex digital ecosystem. Working with modern standards like REST and XML, you'll ensure seamless data exchange between internal systems and third-party platforms. You'll also collaborate closely with data platform teams to align on data standards and architecture.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and wants to make a tangible impact through data.

What You'll Be Doing

Integration Development: Build and maintain data pipelines and APIs using ETL tools and scripting languages. Optimise performance and troubleshoot integration flows.
Data Mapping & Standards: Collaborate with data teams to define and maintain mapping logic and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Architecture & Documentation: Contribute to integration architecture design. Produce technical documentation, SOPs, and post-incident reviews.
Monitoring & Support: Monitor integration performance and provide support for planned and unplanned changes.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with technical teams, product owners, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
Mentoring & Leadership: Support junior developers and lead integration workstreams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.What We're Looking For

Strong experience in data integration, ETL development, or API engineering
Proficiency in SQL and at least one of: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, and data transformation scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, XPath)
Experience with integration engines is a plus - but not essential
Understanding of data standards is desirable but can be learned on the job
