ABOUT DIGIMASTERS

Digimasters Ltd was founded in 2017 as a digital transformation consultancy focused on technology, business process optimisation and data analytics. Digimasters works across all industries and provides experience in organisations of all sizes. Primarily based in London, UK, we work in many regions including the US, EU, APAC and the Middle East. Digimasters takes on additional talent during large programmes of work. For our engagements with clients in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC), as well as other sectors, we have several roles supporting the delivery of technology, business change, and data programmes.

ROLE

We’re on the lookout for a talented and experienced Data Visualisation Consultant to join the Digimasters team. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes dashboards and visual storytelling—especially with Power.B.I. (and Microsoft Fabric), but who’s just as comfortable flexing their skills with Tableau, Qlik, and custom web-based visualisations.

You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering advanced reporting and data visualisation solutions across a range of corporate services, with a particular emphasis on cutting-edge use cases in the A.E.C. (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. If you’re passionate about helping clients unlock insights through engaging, interactive data experiences—and you enjoy working in collaborative, cross-functional teams—then this role could be spot on.

You’ll report to our Data + A.I. Lead Consultant and work closely with stakeholders from client organisations, as well as our own data engineering and design specialists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced PowerBI reports and dashboards for a variety of business units—including finance, HR, operations, and especially A.E.C. projects

  • Work with client teams to understand requirements, develop data models, and translate complex information into clear, insightful, and interactive visualisations

  • Apply your expertise in Microsoft Fabric to create scalable, robust, and secure data visualisation solutions

  • Develop and maintain custom visuals, integrating advanced interactivity using DAX, Power Query, and (ideally) JavaScript or web technologies

  • Support projects that use Tableau, Qlik, or other data visualisation tools as needed

  • Mentor less experienced team members and promote best practices in data visualisation, design, and storytelling

  • Collaborate with data engineers, architects, designers, and client stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and drive impact

  • Stay up to date with the latest features, trends, and capabilities in Power.B.I., Microsoft Fabric, and the wider data viz space

  • Deliver impactful presentations and demos for clients, showcasing the value of strong visual analytics

    EXPECTATIONS IN THE ROLE

The following skills and attributes are essential for success in this role:

  • Power BI Mastery: Deep experience in developing advanced Power.B.I. dashboards, with a solid grasp of DAX, Power Query, and visualisation best practices

  • Microsoft Fabric Expertise: Hands-on experience leveraging Microsoft Fabric for enterprise-scale data projects

  • Multi-Tool Fluency: Experience with Tableau and Qlik is highly valued—you’ll be comfortable switching between tools based on client requirements

  • Custom Visualisation: Strong ability (or interest) in building custom visuals using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or similar web technologies

  • A.E.C. Domain Knowledge: Experience working with clients or data from the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors is a big plus

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Comfortable gathering requirements, presenting to senior stakeholders, and translating business needs into technical solutions

  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Willingness to support junior team members and work in multidisciplinary teams

  • Detail-Oriented Storyteller: Able to turn complex data into compelling, actionable stories through design and interactivity

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience (ideally 4+ years) delivering advanced Power.B.I. solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment

  • Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, data modelling, and data governance in a business setting

  • Exposure to Tableau, Qlik, or other leading data visualisation tools

  • Skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or web development for building or customising visualisations (nice to have, but not essential)

  • Strong understanding of data design principles, UI/UX, and dashboard performance tuning

  • Experience supporting projects in the A.E.C. sector (or a strong interest in this space)

  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence to engage clients and present solutions

  • Relevant degree (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Design, or similar) preferred

This is a Hybrid role and does require candidates to work in central London as well as remotely. We do not sponsor visas so you must be eligible to already work in the UK
