Design Technology Teacher – Bradford

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role:

We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Design Technology Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5. The role encompasses various disciplines within Design Technology, including Product Design, Textiles, and Engineering.

Design and deliver high-quality, innovative lessons that spark creativity.

Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.

Utilize modern tools and technologies to enhance learning experiences.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop a forward-thinking curriculum.

Engage in extracurricular activities that enrich the school community.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology.

Experience teaching at the secondary school level.

A commitment to continuous professional development.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Desirable Skills:

Proficiency in CAD/CAM and other design software.

Ability to teach additional subjects such as Art or Food Technology.

Experience with project-based learning approaches.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
