Are you a passionate English Teacher ready for a fresh opportunity to inspire students in their language and literature journey?

GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and motivated English Teacher to join a supportive school in Louth from after Easter. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or recently qualified, this is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster academic excellence.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in delivering a broad and balanced English curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking and a lifelong love of reading and writing. Working within a collaborative department, you'll support students in reaching their full potential.

English Teacher Responsibilities:

Plan and teach high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.
Encourage students to explore a variety of literary genres and texts.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback and support.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that motivates and challenges learners.
Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.
English Teacher Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
A degree in English or a related subject.
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and the well-being of all students.
A current CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained).
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
