    This is an exciting opportunity to join us as an Enterprise Architect. This position is pivotal in transforming our internal shared systems landscape and driving innovation.

    About the role

    The Enterprise Architect will provide architectural design leadership and lead implementation strategies for internal shared systems and capabilities such as Finance and ERP, People, Publishing, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Management. The role involves bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, designing robust, scalable architectures that align with the organisation's strategic goals, and integrating across various technology platforms. As the enterprise level design lead, the position plays a key role in transforming the enterprise technology landscape, driving innovation, and helping the organisation meet its digital aspirations.

  • Develop and maintain the target enterprise architecture for internal shared capabilities aligning with the business goals of Operations, Finance, People & Culture, and other internal business units.

  • Lead the design of complex architectures, including cloud solutions, data platforms, and integration frameworks.

  • Create and manage a technology roadmap guiding the evolution of internal shared systems.

  • Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and guidelines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated technology solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous innovation.

  • Identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirements.

  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide architectural guidance, and ensure alignment between business and technology strategies.

    About you

  • A strong understanding of enterprise, solution, and technology architecture methodologies.

  • Experienced in design, architecture and specification of technology solutions in complex multi-vendor environments involving the integration of legacy, cloud and SaaS applications.

  • Knowledge and experience of delivering SAP ERP, finance, and warehousing/logistics solutions.

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms and associated services.

  • Understanding of data governance, data architecture, and analytics.

  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, API management, and microservices.

  • Knowledge of security architecture and practices.

  • Understanding of business process management and how technology can drive business transformation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organisational change.
