Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Hard Services Estimator to join our dynamic Facilities Management division.
Role of a Hard Services Estimator -
As a key member of our estimating and commercial team, you will support the FM division by preparing accurate, competitive tenders for hard FM services. Your work will directly support our business development goals and help deliver high-performing, cost-efficient solutions to critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare estimates for technical FM tenders in line with bid requirements
Ensure commercial sign-off process is applied to all tender submissions
Build bottom-up pricing using SFG20 or client-specific PPM/reactive scopes
Obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors for specialist services
Work closely with Operations Directors to identify cost efficiencies
Support Business Development and internal stakeholders with estimating input
Skills & Experience Required to be Hard Services Estimator
Proven experience as an Estimator within a Hard Services FM environment
Expertise across multiple FM market sectors (public, industrial, secure)
Strong Excel skills; capable of managing and analysing large datasets
Solid understanding of SFG20 estimating codes and models
Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
Ability to build estimating models in Excel
Familiarity with SQL databases
