History Teacher

Are you a passionate and engaging History Teacher ready to bring the past to life for bright young women? We're seeking a temporary, full-time teacher to join our Outstanding girls' school in Camden, starting as soon as possible. This is a wonderful chance to spark a lifelong love for history and develop critical thinking skills in our students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) in the heart of London.

What you'll be doing:

• You'll be planning and delivering captivating History lessons, making past events and their significance truly resonate.
  
  
• It's about expertly guiding our students through diverse historical periods and interpretations, following a rich and well-structured curriculum.
  
  
• You'll create a dynamic and inclusive classroom where students feel empowered to explore historical sources, engage in thoughtful discussions, and sharpen their analytical minds.
  
  What we're looking for:
  
  
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a genuine specialism in History.
  
  
• Experience teaching engaging and effective History lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly valued.
  
  
• A deep and current understanding of British and world history, coupled with that ability to make the subject truly come alive for girls.
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and strong classroom management are key.
