The Role
This full-time, temporary position is ideal for someone eager to make a tangible difference in pupils’ academic journeys, particularly through boosters and targeted interventions. You’ll be working closely with class teachers and SEN staff to support pupils who need that extra bit of attention — whether in small groups or one-on-one — to build confidence, close gaps in learning and spark a love for education.

What You'll Be Doing
• Supporting KS2 pupils across core subjects, especially maths and literacy
• Leading booster groups and personalised learning interventions
• Assisting children with special educational needs (SEN), adapting your approach as needed
• Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Working closely with teachers, SENCO and external support staff

About You
• Experience working with primary-aged children (KS2 preferred)
• Confident leading small group sessions and interventions
• Calm, patient and flexible in your approach
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children thrive
• SEN experience is highly desirable
