Lead Technical Architect

A new position has arisen for an experienced Lead Technical Architect to work with a global Tech & Engineering company on a range of data-focused solutions for a central government client.

This role would suit an Architect with experience designing, developing and integrating solutions into AWS or Azure who also possesses the ability to lead, mentor and manage as well as acting as a focal point for key external stakeholders.

The Role

You’ll manage a team of Architects and lead the technical design of services of solutions. You’ll work closely with the delivery function and technical specialists on a wide range of data solutions, providing assurance around the design, ensure that they are secure and align to relevant standards as well as meeting agreed customer requirements. There will also be an emphasis in maximising automation across delivered solutions.

Skills

This role requires an outstanding communicator who can work seamlessly between external stakeholders and technical specialists. Experience with public cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) is essential alongside database technologies (MySQL, Oracle). A deep understanding of engineering and service management methodologies will be required as well as a demonstrable background in deriving and managing technical requirements.

Knowledge of Python and ETL tooling would be highly beneficial.

Hybrid Working

3 days on site and 2 days off site.

Security Clearance

Eligibility to undergo SC Clearance is required for this role.

Package

A base salary of up to £100,000 will be supplemented with private healthcare, pension contribution matched up to 8% and other flexible benefits.
