Job Details

JobMatcha are recruiting for a hard-working Maximo Consultant will work closely with the CAFM Systems Developer to build and configure workflow processes, escalations, and other configuration changes to the Maximo system. There is a desire for the Maximo Consultant to also work on Integration Services, with training and support provided where necessary.

The Maximo Consultant will play an important role across the entire application lifecycle, including change and release, operations, continuous improvements.

The Maximo Consultant will work closely with the CAFM Systems Developer and IT Facilities Project Manager to help plan, execute, test, deploy and finalise projects and changes according to strict deadlines and within budget.

  • 40 Hours per week

  • Location Watford

  • Ongoing work for an experienced Maximo Consultant

    Competencies and Requirements for the position:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK

  • No fewer than five years working in a similar role

  • No fewer than seven years working in structured, managed IT service environments

  • Experience of working with related industries – Civils, Construction, Facilities etc.

  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with IBM Maximo systems in addition to SQL and/or DB2.

  • Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

  • A good understanding of integration tools and techniques, such as Enterprise Service Bus, Web Services, WebSphere, SOAP etc.

  • A working knowledge and understanding of the supporting infrastructure including Windows Server, Windows Clients, Remote Desktop platforms such as RDS, Web Servers such as IIS / Apache / WebSphere, Client Web Browsers such as IE and Chrome.

  • Experience of supporting the upgrade and migrating

  • A working knowledge of SQL, XML & PYTHON/Java Script.

  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.

  • Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.

  • Experience with working in CI/CD environments using Microsoft DevOps

  • Full Clean Drivers License as travel will be required occasionally

  • SC Clearance preffered
