12-month Fixed Term Contract – Full Time (36.25)

Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Neighbourhood Services Team Manager on a 12-month contract – someone to oversee the operational performance of the Neighbourhoods Team to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service. You will be responsible for managing the budget of your service area and ensuring compliance with legislation, data governance, regulatory standards, internal processes and protocol.

Key areas of work:

  • Provide professional advice on a wide range of tenancy management issues, breach of tenancy matters, safeguarding and complex problem solving.

  • Provide professional guidance on tenancy related issues including lettings, tenancy management, breach of tenancy matters and low risk housing related nuisance reports.

  • Work with colleagues across the business to ensure operational effectiveness, business development and the achievement of Corporate Plan and Team objectives.

  • Monitor individual and team performance on a regular basis.

  • Focus on value for money approaches and continuous service improvement to meet the Consumer Standards and increase customer satisfaction.

    Who are we looking for?

    We would like candidates to…

  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to transport.

  • Hold an Accredited Chartered Institute of Housing qualification in housing management and leadership (or be willing to work towards one).

  • Have experience working in housing/neighbourhood management services, ideally in a leadership role.

  • Have strong knowledge of Housing Legislation and an understanding of safeguarding in a social housing context.

  • Be comfortable analysing statistical information and producing high quality written documents.

  • Have experience of managing budgets.

  • Have a degree of flexibility as you may be required to work in the evening or at weekends.
