Software Engineer

Role: .Net Developer - Innovation Team

Location: Hybrid - Wakefield 2 days per week plus WFH

Salary: £42,800K + a comprehensive range of Employee Benefits, (including 13.5% Pension, wide range of travel and shopping discounts)

Key Skills: .Net / .Net Core, any front-end tools experience, SQL Server, SQL, any web app development / interface and Azure skills would be highly beneficial, great problem solving skills!

The Role:

Developing collaborative solutions that support the delivery of critical services
Design, develop and deliver innovative software solutions
Work closely with the BA's to develop business requirements into functional solutionsThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

1 - 2 years minimum commercial experience in a .Net OR .Net Core development role
RDBMS experience, (ideally MS SQL Server and T-SQL)
Any front end development skills, (Blazor, React, Javascript, C# etc.)
Exposure to any of the following would be highly desirable: Azure Web App development, PowerApps, Power BI, Git, RPA, Sharepoint etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise confidently across the team
5+ years UK residency, (with no extended periods outside of the UK), in order to meet the necessary level of security vetting required.** You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years in order to meet the security vetting required for this role
