Your Impact: What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support the development and execution of our margin and performance strategies, helping the business make smarter, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse department- and product-level margins to understand profitability

  • Spot trends, risks, and opportunities—then recommend data-led actions

  • Lead variance analysis (actuals vs. forecasts, budgets, prior periods)

  • Create and present clear, actionable margin performance reports to senior leaders

  • Support pricing and promotional strategy evaluations to optimise margins

  • Help shape budgets and forecasts with accurate margin inputs

  • Identify underperforming SKUs and recommend changes to improve profitability

  • Produce ad hoc reports to support strategic decisions

  • Work closely with Buying teams to influence decisions that boost margins

  • Collaborate with Data teams to enhance the quality and granularity of reporting

  • A relevant degree or prior experience in an analytical or commercial role

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Confidence in presenting insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

  • A collaborative attitude with the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Great time management—comfortable juggling multiple projects

  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing new technical skills

  • Proficiency in Excel; Power BI or SQL knowledge (or a desire to learn) is a bonus

    Position: Permanent, Full-time

    Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm.
