Shape the Future of a Leading UK Marketplace | Product Analyst Opportunity

With nearly 500 top-tier partners and an international expansion strategy in full swing, one of the UK’s most recognisable marketplace platforms is investing heavily in its data and product capabilities and are looking for an experienced Product Analyst to join their high-performing Analytics team.

The opportunity?

You’ll play a vital role at the intersection of data and product, becoming the go-to person for product analytics. You'll own complex datasets, uncover behavioural insights, and directly shape the evolution of the app experience for millions of users.

If you're driven by data, obsessed with user journeys, and love turning raw information into powerful product decisions, this maybe the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Dig into rich, high-volume datasets and transform them into structured outputs that power our dashboards and drive smarter business decisions.

  • Lead data investigations around member behaviour, app engagement, feature usage, and login patterns to optimise the digital experience.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to inform product strategy, identify growth opportunities, and validate hypotheses.

  • Use tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase to build intuitive, visually compelling dashboards that bring data to life.

  • Apply event-tracking tools like GA4, Firebase, or similar to analyse product usage and spot friction points or high-performing features.

  • Champion experimentation by designing, running, and analysing A/B tests and user experiments.

  • Share clear, actionable insights through engaging data storytelling, bridging the gap between technical analysis and strategic decision-making.

  • Support junior analysts by sharing best practices, mentoring on analytical thinking, and helping them level up their skills.

    What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in product or digital analytics, ideally within app-first businesses or digital marketplaces.

  • Strong SQL skills – you’re comfortable querying large datasets and building scalable, reusable models.

  • Expertise with BI/data visualisation tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase.

  • Experience working with app data and event tracking tools (e.g., GA4, Firebase).

  • Confidence in running A/B tests and experimentation programs -from setup to interpretation.

  • A natural storyteller who can simplify the complex and present insights that drive real change.

  • A curious, collaborative problem-solver with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.

    Location:

  • Hybrid in Manchester

    Why Join?

This is more than a data role — it’s a chance to influence how millions interact with one of the UK’s fastest-growing platforms. You’ll be part of a collaborative, purpose-driven environment with clear growth plans, a brand refresh in motion, and a leadership team who values insight-led decision-making.
