We are currently seeking a Project Financial Controller, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), to join our finance team based in London or Milton Keynes, England, UK.

About the mission we offer you:
The Project Financial Controller will be responsible for all finance of the NZT Project, in coordination with UK Finance, T.EN France Finance, UK stakeholders (Project cost controller, site).
Main Accountabilities :
Project financial follow up during the contract execution:
Accounts Payable:

  • Monitors Accounts Payable, overseeing activity of Shared service team
  • Provides data on Cost Control and to Project on request
  • Maintain records of Purchase orders for cost accruals and follow up
  • Controls payments out
    Accounts Receivable:
  • Prepares Invoicing procedure and ensure all invoicing is done following the procedure
  • Maintains Invoice register
  • Coordinates issue of invoices, controls recording on the ERP system
  • Follows up on payment received
    Actual/Forecast:
  • Extract actual data from the system for reconciliation to Cost Control data
  • Validates project cash forecasts and cost accounting reconciliation working closely with Cost Control forecast of cash in and out
  • Produces project forecasts and communicates them timely to Budget & Control (revenue/gross margin calendarization and recognition) working closely with Cost Control and T.EN France Financial Control and provides main justifications if needed
  • Monitors hedging requirements, agrees with CFO and coordinates with Group Treasury
  • Participates in Project Management Review
  • Prepares off-balance sheet commitment (bank guarantee, parent company guarantee)
  • Communicates with external auditors for all project related financial aspects
  • Controls project CAPEX along with cost controllers/cost engineers
    Scope of Responsibility:
    Finance representative for the Project, working under the supervision of CFO.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • Moderate experience in Finance or Financial Controlling and with ERP system
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS especially (IAS 11, IAS 18, IAS 21, IAS 32, IAS 39)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Interact with all Departments of the Company and the Project Team members.
  • Must be able to operate without constant supervision.
