The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our committed and supportive team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for passionate educators who want to make a real impact on pupils' lives and be part of a thriving Science department.

You will teach Key Stages 3 and 4, with flexibility to work full-time or part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE). This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and offers a stimulating and rewarding environment for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

*    Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
*    Create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking
*    Participate in and contribute to the school’s dynamic co-curricular programme
*    Support pupils of all abilities and backgrounds, ensuring inclusive and differentiated learning
*    Engage actively in ongoing professional development and curriculum planning
*    Provide timely, constructive feedback and regular progress reports to parents and guardians
*    Uphold and promote safeguarding policies and a culture of wellbeing throughout the school

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is committed to excellence in education, passionate about science, and eager to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team. About you:

*    A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
*    A subject specialist in Chemistry or Physics (desirable)
*    A creative and reflective educator, open to new ideas and innovation
*    Skilled in classroom management and lesson planning
*    A team player who contributes positively to school life and values
*    Technologically confident, with experience using digital tools in teaching
*    Committed to the pastoral care and well-being of pupils
