We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Visualisation Engineer to join a growing Analytics team in Liverpool. This role focuses on creating innovative and impactful data visualisations to drive decision-making in the Retail industry.

The company are a family owned, British discount retail business. Known for offering a wide range of products, including homeware, toys, food, and more, at discounted prices. The Liverpool based company has grown from a single store to a nationwide chain with over 500 stores.

We are growing our data & analytics team, this is an opportunity for a Senior Data Visualisation Engineer to come and be apart of our success story and help develop impactful dashboards & reports moving forward.

Description

The successful Senior Data Visualisation Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:

Develop and maintain data visualisation dashboards to support business strategies.
Collaborate with Analytics and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights.
Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable visuals for stakeholders.
Ensure all visualisation tools meet high standards of accuracy and usability.
Optimise data visualisation processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Provide technical expertise on data visualisation tools and best practices.
Identify trends and opportunities through advanced data analysis techniques.
Support training initiatives to improve team members' understanding of data visualisation.

Profile

A successful Senior Data Visualisation Engineer should have:

Strong expertise in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
A proven track record of creating impactful data dashboards and reports.
Solid knowledge of data analytics and statistical methods.
Proficiency in SQL and other query languages.
An understanding of ETL.
A background in the Retail industry is advantageous but not essential.
