We are looking for passionate PHP Symfony Developers to join our growing team and help us build the future of financial technology.

As a PHP Symfony Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Your expertise in Symfony and PHP will be crucial in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP (7.x/8.x) and Symfony (preferably Symfony 4+).
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
Optimise application performance and scalability to handle large volumes of transactions and data.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including writing optimised SQL queries.
Build RESTful APIs. Please Note: The role requires travel into an office in Grantham 1 day per quarter for team planning sessions and meetings. Therefore the successful candidate will need to be based in the UK. International applications will not be considered at this time.
Salary: up to £50 000 depending on experience.
