Solutions Architect - AWS/Kafka/Security/Agile

Location: Leicester (onsite ideally, 5 days per week)
Contract: 6 months (ongoing)
Start Date: Early October 2025 (provisional)
Day Rate: Up to £500/day (Inside IR35)

About the Role

Endeavour Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join a major large-scale automation warehousing programme.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering secure, scalable solutions, with a strong focus on AWS cloud architecture, Kafka for Real Time streaming, and Security best practices within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS.
Lead solution architecture for Real Time data streaming using Kafka.
Ensure solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to drive delivery.
Act as a strong communicator between stakeholders, technical teams, and business units.
Support ongoing architectural improvements and provide technical guidance.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Solutions Architect.
Strong hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services.
Solid experience with Kafka for messaging and streaming.
Strong knowledge of security principles, frameworks, and compliance.
Experienced working in Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ideally based locally to Leicester, available for onsite work (5 days/week preferred)
