Join a leading software vendor specialising in end-to-end Supply Chain Planning solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled SQL SSIS Developer to manage and support our on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone with a robust background in Windows Server administration, Microsoft SQL Server, and firewall security, with a strong emphasis on SQL, Integration Services, SSIS, and ETL skills.

SQL SSIS Developer

Annual Salary: £35,000 per annum plus additional earning opportunities
Location: Stockton-on-tees, Hybrid (1 day from home per week)
Job Type: Full-time, with additional out of hours supplements

Day-to-day of the role:

Database & Application Support:
Maintain and optimise Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Develop and troubleshoot SQL Integration Services (SSIS) ETL processes.

Windows Server & Network Administration:
Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
Configure and support IIS for web applications and Remote Desktop (RDP).
Administer Active Directory (AD), Group Policies, Users, and Computer accounts.
Manage network printers, shared folders, and system permissions.
Cloud & Virtualization (Desirable Skills):

Plan and execute migrations of on-premise Windows domains, servers, and workloads to Microsoft Azure.
Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines (VMs), App Services, Azure SQL, AKS, and other Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings.
IT Support & Maintenance:
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and system monitoring solutions.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance IT operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Expertise in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration.
Proficient in managing SQL Server databases and SSIS for ETL processes.
Strong focus on SQL, Integration Services, SSIS, and ETL skills.
Experience with Microsoft Azure & Azure DevOps (desirable).
Managing and configuring Fortinet (FortiGate) and SonicWall firewalls.
Desirable skills include Docker, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and experience with cloud networking and security.
