Role - Technical Business Analyst

Duration - 12 months initially

Sector - Banking and Finance

Location - Remote / Liverpool Street, London - 3 days per week in the office in Liverpool Street, London.

Rate - £700 - £900 per day (Inside IR35)

Key Experience -

Proven track record of working on strategic projects and leading with the translation of Business requirements to technical specs
Experience with Front-to-back office models and workflows
Hands on experience with co-ordinating effort estimation activity alongside PMs and lead Devs
Good product knowledge of and exposure to Fixed Income Products
Leading on the creation of Solution Design document

Role -

Highly experienced IT Business Analyst is required for the analysis, design and delivery of functional, technical, process and data specifications, models, mappings, and transformation rules for Risk Management technology solutions.
The Technical Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing technical solutions to support the organization's IT infrastructure and business processes. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to understand their technical needs and providing detailed analysis and recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
An ideal candidate would have recently delivered these capabilities in another bank or similar regulated organisation within financial services. The candidate is expected to design and deliver end to end business process, applications and information architecture solutions integrating legacy, tactical and strategic components. Experience with On prem, On Cloud, Hybrid, Azure Integration, Databricks, SQL Server, Oracle, XML, Python, Power Apps, BAIS, Digital Workflow, Process Orchestration, BPMN, ECB Risk & Finance Data Model is highly desirable for this role.

Background -

Technical Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of technical requirements and provide recommendations for solutions that align with business objectives.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, system configurations, and process flows.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather and understand technical requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
System Design: Assist in the design and implementation of IT systems and applications, ensuring they meet technical and business requirements.
Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of IT systems and applications.
Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT systems and applications, resolving issues in a timely manner.
Drives specific technology endeavours that relate to the banks Midterm strategy
Works autonomously, steering the project through issues but maintaining an open dialogue with management and escalating as appropriate.
Attends project meetings, steering committees, workshops, etc.
Works effectively across regulatory, geographic and cultural boundaries throughout the EMEA region

Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce solution architecture standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
Project Support: Provide architectural guidance and support for IT projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with the overall IT strategy.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with solution architectures, ensuring the security and reliability of IT systems.

Education & Qualifications -
