Account Manager Manchester / Hybrid - 3 days in the office 28k - 37k based on experience

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Account Manager to join our Client Services team.

You will be part of our dynamic Client Services team, reporting to our Senior Account Directors and working closely with our Junior Account Manager, Operations, and the wider Spark team.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience at AM level, within an agency
Solid project management skills with experience in budgeting, scheduling and building client relationships
Excellent Communication Skills (face to face, by phone, and by email)
Building relationships with and becoming the direct contact for small-mid sized clients
Supporting the Client Services Director/s on the management of large clients and projects
Be accountable for the project commercials, be able to scope work and deliver your projects on time and on budget
Communicating with designers, developers and freelancers to make sure they are on schedule and know how much time remains on the project
Highly collaborative, able to work well with other Client Service team members, strategists, designers, developers and clients
Able to balance reactive and proactive workloads, identify problems and find appropriate solutions but not afraid to ask for help, or to push back
Excellent attention to detail

Main duties and responsibilities of the post

Manage your own workload and maintain individual and team goals
Be comfortable working with up to 10 clients / projects at any one time
Able to disseminate the clients needs, and write a clear brief for the studio
Able to write clear status report for clients (both project and retainer clients)
Look for upselling opportunities with clients
Understand clients’ needs and manage expectations
Work in line with budgets, and report if we are to exceed budget or scope of work
Work with Operations on booking and managing resource
