Activities - Struan Lodge Care Home

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £12.58 Per Hour

Shift Type: Days

Contracted hours: 35

Struan Lodge is a purpose-built care home offering exceptional Nursing, Dementia, and Palliative care for up to 30 residents. Set in a peaceful location, we are proud to provide personalised, compassionate support in a warm and nurturing environment.

We are now looking for a sociable, creative, and well-organised Activities Coordinator to bring joy, fun, and variety to our residents’ daily lives. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference and creating uplifting moments, we would love to hear from you.

What We Offer:

£12.58 per hour (paid breaks)

35 hours per week

Paid PVG, pension, free uniform and onsite parking

5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do:
In this role, you will lead the planning and delivery of engaging activities and events that promote physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. From designing monthly schedules to supporting residents in maintaining hobbies or trying new interests, you will help create a stimulating, inclusive environment. You will build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues while encouraging participation and keeping clear, accurate records of activities and individual engagement.

What We’re Looking For:
We welcome applications from all backgrounds. Experience in a care home is not essential – what matters most is your energy and enthusiasm. You will bring:

The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
