The AD will ensure that all relevant SLAs are met and adhered to.

A key area of the AD’s role will be to simplify the current software architecture within SEUK and utilise the application support team to deliver this. This will enable SEUK to operate and report on its assets with confidence. An important factor in this is to produce robust technical documentation covering all aspects of the applications utilised by SEUK’s operational department. This will enable clarity of business processes allowing easier support models. This will allow the AD to define an accurate list of operational data assets and their associated meta data. This will form the basis of accurately monitoring and reporting on Asset data throughout the Wilton business.

One of the most important aspects of the AD role will be to work with the application support team to enhance a change control process. This will enable the recording and reporting on changes made to applications and minimise risk to the business.
