Deerfoot Recruitment is assisting a respected organisation on the South Coast in the search for an Application Support Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded problem solver to play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing business-critical applications, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple departments.

The Application Support Analyst will provide second-line support for key business applications, ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved promptly and systems perform reliably. The successful candidate will work closely with users, IT teams, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot issues, support system enhancements, and drive continuous improvement in application functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver second-line support for business applications, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.

Monitor application performance, identify and address potential issues, and implement preventative measures.

Liaise between users, IT teams, and third-party suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve application-related problems.

Assist with system configuration, development, and enhancement to meet evolving business needs.

Document processes, changes, and solutions to contribute to a robust knowledge base.

Support testing, change management, and implementation activities for system updates and new applications.

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance system efficiency through automation or improved processes.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About You:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience resolving application incidents and optimising performance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Solid understanding of business application ecosystems, ideally within a retail or automotive context.

Familiarity with ITIL service management and incident handling.

Working knowledge of SQL for querying and issue resolution.

Experience supporting ERP, HR, or CRM systems (desirable).

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, or automotive business processes (desirable).

Adaptable, organised, and proactive in driving improvements.
