Business Development Manager - Smart Home Integration
£35,000 - £45,000 + Commission | Remote-Based with Occasional Travel | Company Car, Laptop & Phone Provided

An award-winning, long-established smart home integration business is looking for a Business Development Manager to help take their growth to the next level. About the Role
As Business Development Manager, your focus will be to identify and nurture relationships with key decision makers in the architecture, interior design, construction, and property development sectors. Your role is to open doors, spark interest, and influence project decision making at the earliest possible stage, ensuring smart home technology is part of the vision from day one.

This is a hybrid-based position (mostly based from home), giving you the flexibility to manage your pipeline independently, with occasional visits to the company's fully automated, cutting edge showroom, ideal for client demos and team collaboration.

What You'll Be Doing

Generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking
Building long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and contractors
Representing a premium smart home integration brand at events, exhibitions, and client meetings
Collaborating with internal technical and design teams to deliver tailored solutions
Managing your own pipeline and full sales cycle, from lead to close

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within Smart tech, AV, construction, property, or design sectors
A strong network in architecture, interiors, or property development is a big plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a professional, consultative approach
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Willingness to travel occasionally to the showroom or client locations
