BI Analyst | Car/Allowance + Bonus | Birmingham OR York | Hybrid Working

We are seeking a talented BI Analyst to join a dynamic FTSE 100 company, working with large, complex datasets in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in SQL and PowerBI (including DAX) to enhance dashboards, reporting, and data modeling.

As a BI Analyst, you will be a key player in optimising enterprise data infrastructure. Your work will help shape data driven decision making by translating business needs into technical solutions and providing actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
• Play an integral role in maintaining and enhancing the enterprise data infrastructure
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for data flows, integrations, transformations, databases, and dashboards
• Collaborate on the development of data architecture, governance, and security, focusing on data models, master/reference data, and reporting
• Assist in refining business requirements and ensuring they align with technical capabilities
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of technical documentation, including data dictionaries and catalogs

Skills / Experience:
• Solid experience with SQL and database development
• Proven expertise in building reports and semantic models using Power BI (including DAX)
• Experience with Databricks
• Understanding of relational databases and data warehouse architectures
• Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and analysis
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and Git version control
• Bonus: experience with AI
