Located in Leatherhead, Surrey, Veco Software has been established in the market, providing solutions to sales and lettings agents around the UK for nearly 30 years.

We are in an exciting period of change and have recently released our new cloud based product to the market. As such and due to recent changes, we are looking to expand our team and looking for a new Business Consultant.

Our Business Consultant role is a client facing role in which you will lead and oversee the delivery of our suite of products to our clients. You will own the successful delivery of our products whilst understanding every aspect of our clients business and processes.

You will be responsible for the discovery, configuration and training of our products from the point of sale to the transfer to our support team. You will also be involved in assisting in the pre-sale process when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver implementation projects

  • Identify, analyse and create solutions for clients based on their business processes

  • Managing client relationships

  • Deliver product training courses

  • Attend consultancy session to identify and deliver business solutions to our clients

  • Identifying up-sell opportunities

    Key requirements:

  • 2 – 5 years experience in product implementation and delivery or equitant experience.

  • The ability to conduct meetings and workshops with clients to discover and develop technical solutions

  • Previous experience of data migrations

  • An understanding of relational databases (preferably SQL Server).

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to write specifications for colleagues to deliver technical solutions

  • An understanding of the residential property industry including Sales, Lettings, Property Management and Accounting (desirable not essential)

  • This is a 100% client-facing role and the right candidate will be well-presented and have excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Confident presenting and training in front of clients, from small to large groups of up to 20.

  • Motivated individual able to prioritise their work.

  • Punctual– it is imperative that the right candidate arrives on time to client meetings.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

  • Diplomatic and patient.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • You are a proactive people person

  • You are results driven and forward thinking

  • Manage expectations and respond positively to last minute changes

  • Excel at working both independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrate strong sense of ownership and accountability
