Job Title: D365 Business Central Support Specialist

Location: Ireland (Hybrid/Remote options available)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for a D365 Business Central support consultant. This position can be in the Dublin office or can be remote; however, you must be based in Ireland.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused D365 Business Central Support Specialist to work for a Microsoft-leading Gold Partner. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of ERP systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality support to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for D365 Business Central users across multiple departments.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with external partners and Microsoft support when necessary.

  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts.

  • Document support processes, FAQs, and user guides.

  • Train and support end users on BC functionality and best practices.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and implement system improvements.

  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimisation.

    Requirements:

    Essential:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV.

  • Strong understanding of core BC modules (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, etc.).

  • Experience with user support, issue tracking, and documentation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

    Desirable:

  • Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).

  • Knowledge of AL language and extensions.

  • Familiarity with SQL and reporting tools.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment.
