Commercial Finance Analyst

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading service business based in Telford in their search for a Commercial Finance Analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with advanced Excel skills who is looking for a highly commercial and analytical role in finance. You will be responsible for analysing existing and new project costs and budgets, working with operations to ensure correct pricing and being a key business partner within the wider business.

This role would suit someone finalist level, qualified or qualified by relevant experience as well as someone who has advanced Excel skills such as power queries, SQL and modelling experience.

Duties Include:

• Work with commercial finance and wider business to support decision making
  
• Use a variety of methods to break down and simplify operations and financial data
  
• Work across various pricing models
  
• Critically analyse business proposals from a financial standpoint
  
• Ensure projects are financial and commercially robust
  
• Identify opportunities to optimise revenue margins and cash flow
  
• Business partner with stakeholders at multiple layers
  
  Requirements:
  
  
• Strong commercial acumen
  
• Strong knowledge of advanced Excel functions
  
• High attention to detail and logical approach
  
• Ability to present to senior stakeholders
  
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
