This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the global energy transition. Our client leads the way in providing strategic market intelligence and consulting services to the offshore renewable energy sector. They add value by delivering the market knowledge and insights needed for both tactical and strategic decision-making.
Their broad and diverse client base includes both established industry leaders and emerging innovators. They offer a range of subscription services, including quarterly reports, databases and dedicated customer support.
Additionally, their Offshore Wind Consulting team provides tailored, actionable market reports and services, supporting the strategic decisions of offshore wind developers, supply chain participants, government bodies, and investors.
Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue goals for consulting services
  • Collaborate with potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored proposals.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and Director of Research to ensure proposals meet quality objectives.
  • Contribute to the success of consulting projects by managing team inputs and producing high-quality research.
  • Conduct research using methods such as telephone interviews, desk studies, and data analysis.
  • Write clear and compelling reports that present findings in an engaging and accessible way.
  • Attend client meetings and industry events and deliver presentations when required
  • Collaborate with the research team to ensure quality, and completeness of market-leading intelligence services.
  • Build and nurture a personal network of relationships within the industry.
    About You
  • A minimum of an undergraduate degree in a technical or numerical field (or equivalent) from a reputable institution. Postgraduate qualifications are desirable.
  • Relevant experience in engineering, operations, research, strategy, or consulting.
  • Knowledge of the offshore wind industry and energy markets is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Proven ability to secure business through effective client engagement and proposal writing.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects and coordinating team efforts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts.
  • A confident communicator who engages to resolve challenges.
  • Excellent numerical and statistical skills, with proficiency in analysis and forecasting using MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus but not essential.
