We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Assurance Analyst to join our Data Governance & Assurance team !! This team is part of the Data and Intelligence function within the Digital and Data business area. The salary on offer is up to £55,000 DOE, along with hybrid flexible working !!!

About the role:

The role will report into the Data Governance Quality and Assurance Manager you'll be ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and support the design and implementation of the Risk and Control (RACM) framework across the NHSPS, ensuring an audit ready assurance process is in place. They will also support the execution of internal audit engagements and provide feedback and coaching to functional teams whilst supporting the Data Governance, Assurance and Quality Manager in implementing the Data Management Framework and in particular the Data Quality controls to ensure accurate prevention of re-occurrence.

You Will :

Support to shape and implement data quality and assurance frameworks
Ensure key controls across the business are in line with business objectives and audit principles to be implemented
Automate existing manual processes where possible
Roll out risk and control (RACM) framework across NHSPS, ensuring an audit ready assurance process is in place to underpin our e2e processes
Liaise with key stakeholders around the organisation to identify failure points that enable additional controls and governance and audit principles to be implemented

What you will bring to the role:

Strong stakeholder engagement
Experience in delivering data and business improvement projects
Broad understanding of business operations and governance/legal frameworks
Ability to talk about Data Quality and Assurance in a simple and engaging manner to non-technical colleagues
Knowledge in data quality, business improvement, assurance and audit best practices
