Data Steward – Short-Term Contract – Fully Remote – Inside IR35

VIQU have partnered with a global E-Commerce organisation who are seeking a Data Steward on a short-term basis to assist on a project focussing on product data / PIM.  We are ideally looking for candidates for an immediate start.  

The role:

The successful Data Steward will support the improvement and quality of product data, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accuracy. This Data Steward role will focus on exporting and formatting data for entry onto the PIM system, primarily working with Excel.

Responsibilities:

Working to clear a backlog of tasks involving formatting and inputting data onto the PIM system.
Ensure that product data is accurate and fully complete (data cleansing).
Work with stakeholders on data requests / any incoming queries or issues.
Key skills and experience:

Advanced Excel skills, e.g. Power Query, running macros, complex formulas, creating data dashboards, advanced lookups.
Solid data cleansing skills, ensuring formatted data is fully complete and accurate
Data management principles, data governance, and data quality standards
Experience managing large data sets.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow process.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with Jira to manage tasks would be useful.
Experience working with product data / Product Information Management (PIM) systems (e.g. Akeneo, Salsify, Informatica, Stibo Systems, InRiver) would be a plus.

Role: Data Steward   
Duration: 2 months contract   
IR35: Inside IR35 - (Off-payroll regulations apply)
Rate: £250 - £300 per day
Location: Fully remote
