EYFS Teacher – One-Year Contract – Scarborough
Full Time | September Start | Friendly & Well-Led Primary School

We’re working with a much-loved Scarborough primary school who are looking to welcome an EYFS Teacher for a full-time, one-year contract starting this September.

This is a lovely opportunity to be part of a nurturing, well-resourced Early Years team in a setting that really values collaboration, creativity, and consistency for its pupils. Planning is shared across the year group, so while you’ll have room to bring your own spark to the classroom, you’ll never feel like you’re doing it alone.

The ideal person will bring a calm, warm presence and a solid understanding of the EYFS framework—plus the ability to build brilliant relationships with children at the very start of their school journey. You’ll be supported by experienced TAs and SLT who understand how important Early Years is in laying the foundations for life.

This is a full-time position in a welcoming, forward-thinking school that truly looks after its staff. Whether you’re an experienced EYFS teacher or an ECT with strong placement experience, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll need QTS and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be happy to apply for one).

👀 Not quite the right fit?
If you’re a qualified Teacher based in or around Scarborough and looking for something slightly different—whether that’s Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, part-time roles or supply work—we’d still love to hear from you. We work with a wide range of primary schools across the area and can help find the role that feels right.
